<text>The idea of working on the construction of Binational Educational Itineraries (IEB, as geographical, pedagogical, and legal-political agreement spaces) formed part of our final thesis work to obtain our degree in Educational Institution Management, considering educational issues in border zones, as the result of a debate between governmental and non-governmental organizations.
Our objectives were:
- To contribute basic criteria for the construction of binational educational itineraries in border zones.- To propose regional management as a strategy for the discussion and agreement of the issues that affect border zones.- To work on a project that might enable the construction of the Binational Educational Itinerary for adult literacy between Argentina and Bolivia, along the Potosí-Jujuy route.
To carry out this project, we have worked with topics related to the migrant population in border zones, regional management and the subsequent deterritorialization, intercultural identity and adult education issues.
Binational Educational Itineraries seem to be a valid space for the exchange, integration and cooperation between both countries; however, the literacy itinerary, strongly linked to processes of exclusion and the absence of policies that may favor integral development in some Argentine and Bolivian zones, shows that there is still a right that has neither been considered nor sufficiently guaranteed: the right NOT TO MIGRATE.</text>

<text>Within the framework of the research project “Transversality as a Space for the Construction of Interculturality” (Secter, UNJu; 1999–2001), we have investigated the development of problems linked to different aspects of this subject. In this paper, we propose to reflect on what we consider to be some significant antecedents in the treatment of the problem of interculturality within the History of Argentine and Latin American Ideas. We seek to analyze a series of axes shared by the selected thinkers, who turned them into the object of systematic and common reflection. These themes, as developed by the thinkers studied here, also refer us to current reflections in the Philosophy of Interculturality, thus constituting unavoidable contributions to it.
The urgent need to think of Latin America as the creator of its own identity, through the search for the principles that sustain our identity, is a concern that runs through their works. In the four thinkers analyzed, this concern is related to the exploration of the meanings of everyday life as lived by popular sectors. From this perspective, a link appears with contingency as the basis for the recognition of subjects.
This paper, therefore, addresses what we consider to be some significant antecedents in the treatment of interculturality within the History of Latin American Ideas, in order to analyze certain axes that appear as a common concern among the selected thinkers and that contribute to the construction of a Philosophy of Interculturality.</text>

<text>In the present work, we address the insertion of Philosophy in the Federal Education Law.
We consider objectives and levels: common basic contents of E.G.B., common basic contents of polimodal education, the common core of polimodal education, and its branches.
Having established the place of philosophy in the Federal Education Law, we carry out a critical analysis of what we think happens in practice with Philosophy in the implementation of the Law, since we see that there is no coherence between what the Law formally expresses and the documents of the Ministry of Education of the Nation, and what the regional educational policies are implementing. Finally, in the conclusions, we present our proposal to reverse what has so far been shown as “the forgetting of philosophy.”</text>

<text>We mean by ethical rationality an intersubjective rationality that sets the basis for responsibility for common human actions. An ethical response from communicative action allows us to institutionalize interests concerning everyone who shares an authentic human vocation.
Although this rationality is made evident through an argumentative discourse—in which the interlocutor brings forward the reasons that support his/her action—it does not mean that ethical discourse could refuse to listen to some of the persons affected by it, or limit their argumentative capacity, or exclude them from the argumentative process; this would mean rejecting the logic and the proper aim of argumentation because of subjective motives that do not dare to submit themselves to the canon of intersubjectivity.
Ethical rationality supposes the recognition of human beings—interlocutors—as persons and the institutionalization of responsible actions, neither individual nor strategic, but actions that recognize the consequences of decisions, attention to generalizable interests, and commitment to those affected.</text>

In this work, we try to show the complicity of a certain kind of instrumental rationality with the globalized neocapitalist system: a system that, among its disastrous consequences, has led to the worst crisis of civilization since civilization itself is put in danger: the ecological problem.
We also try to sketch a brief outline of the extent to which philosophy has dealt with this subject and to adopt a genealogical methodological position that may be useful for dismantling those discourses that have legitimated the state of affairs we present.</text>

That is why these terms are projected from their etymological meanings, designing a course that goes through reason as a universal paradigm of human thought, in order to resignify it as “reasonable reason”.
The postmodern tribes have made an effort to present deconstruction as a detotalizing strategy, inverting axiological tendencies in an attempt to consolidate the irrational as an alternative answer to the modern mandates.
In this way, readings of the world are structured in formally valid discourses, but, due to their superficiality or their fallacious character, they do not refer to the ontological density of a reality that remains immutable.
Looking at the communicative forms in our context, we transpose the rational categories and we try to identify their reasonableness.</text>

<text>In this lecture, I seek to recover an aspect of Pierre Bourdieu’s work that I consider particularly significant for those of us working in the social sciences: the relationship between ethical indignation, scientific production, and commitment to society. I want to show that, from his early research in colonial Algeria to his public interventions in the 1990s, Bourdieu did not understand the scientist’s political responsibility as an abandonment of the demands of the profession but rather as their radicalization. His reflexive sociology requires us to question our own categories of perception, the social conditions under which knowledge is produced, and the forms of symbolic violence that also traverse the academic field. From this perspective, the autonomy of science does not imply neutrality or isolation, but the defense of institutional conditions that make it possible to produce knowledge governed by scientific standards rather than by political, economic, or corporate interests. In Argentina at the beginning of 2002, this reflection challenges us in a particular way. Those of us working in universities and the social sciences are not merely observers of the crisis: we are also part of the institutions and practices that must be examined. Defending science therefore requires a professional ethic, reflexivity, and a commitment to placing our cultural capital at the service of universal causes and greater spaces of freedom.</text>

<text>This paper intends to offer a critical reflection about the relationship between science and ethics, based on the current situation, inasmuch as science and society have interests and needs that are not always satisfied by scientists. From this point, we intend to consider the relationship in two ways: on the one hand, to examine science as an activity considered “neutral” and uncontaminated. On the other hand, to think of science as a practice where men, beyond their theoretical and objective achievements, advance technologically up to a point that leads us to think of science as guilty of the ills that the world suffers. Nevertheless, we think that science today can be named "technoscience" because it is almost impossible to separate it from technology, and it is precisely here that the problem becomes more critical: Is the ethical neutrality of science possible?
In this dialectic game between science and society, we find values and ethical rules as regulating principles of human activity faced with the interests, the power, and the loss of human rights; they become devalued and lead us to think of a “hammer” science that frightens us. These problems can only be overcome when, alongside reason, the human dimension takes its place.</text>

              <elementText elementTextId="21568">

To demystify some discussions, I intend to revise dichotomies of opposed concepts in different historiographic positions so as to analyze whether these dichotomies, from the epistemological point of view, represent insurmountable abysses, unbridgeable ruptures, or, on the other hand, can be constitutive parts of surpassing positions. The problems of content, method, and style will be taken into consideration as axes to organize the most fertile controversies that have occurred in the historical field.</text>

<text>Abstract:This paper shows how Einstein had to modify concepts considered fixed (inertial mass, gravitational mass, and gravity) in order for a series of new experimental facts, which did not fit within Newton’s paradigm, to be integrated into a coherent world ruled by a superseding paradigm: relativistic mechanics.
Newton’s and Einstein’s paradigms are approached with the conceptual schema that Thomas S. Kuhn described in his conception of theories as structures, which is an essential aspect of knowledge development from any historical point of view.
The paper concludes with Einstein’s proposal on how to consolidate a paradigm.</text>

<text>Epistemology claims for itself the condition of being a philosophical discipline that directs its reflection toward a special form of knowledge. As a form of radical thought, it should examine the hypotheses that it takes as supporting points, making them explicit and providing their foundations. Nevertheless, in some current epistemological reflections, investigation stops at these borders. Philosophical adhesions are in fact not given without justification.
One of the theories that has enjoyed the greatest impact on the philosophy of science in the last century has been, without a doubt, the one presented by Thomas Kuhn. It had the virtue of breaking the positivist hegemony and, simultaneously, expanding the spectrum of problems of interest to epistemology by incorporating the historical-social dimension. In any case, it is not the intention of this work to consider the contribution of the theory of the structure of the scientific revolutions to the corpus of the discipline, since the success, adherence, and influence it had give sufficient evidence of this. Rather, I will focus on one of the fundamental problems that I observe in it, which I consider to derive from the neglect of the critical revision of the concept of ‘’world”, one of the underlying philosophical assumptions.</text>
