<text>The present article corresponds to an extension of a Master´s thesis of own authorship dedicated to the study of the body and violence in the work of Hannah Arendt. It is in this context that the attempt to trace a possible concept of violence that operates as a starting point evidenced numerous debates around its characterization. Far from arriving at an accurate reading, the persistence of disagreements and arbitrariness expand the interpretive range to the point where there is a constant redefinition of the term. This indiscriminate appropriation generates a theoretical vacuum around the violence that is completed with the particular needs of each disciplinary. Assuming a historical-hermeneutic position, the objective of the article consists in the reconstruction of some of the most relevant debates regarding the definition of violence in Human Sciences (with particular attention to education area). The methodology is based on etymological reconstructions and reviews of primary and secondary sources pertinent to the subject matter.</text>

<text>The following work attempts to trace the connection of a set of theoretical problems that inhabit the concept of overdetermination of Louis Althusser. First of all, we propose to recover the criticisms made to structuralism done by certain thinkers, pointing out the way in which they interpreted the Althusserian concept of overdetermination in the light of these criticisms. In a second moment, we will review those contemporary readings of Althusser that emphasize the importance of Spinozian philosophy in his thinking, in particular for the construction of the concept of overdetermination. Finally, on the basis of these readings, we will proceed to indicate that the Spinozian immanent causality allows us to revisit Althusser’s appropriation of the structuralist problematic showing that the crossing between structuralism and Spinozism in the French philosopher’s thinking enables us to propose a structuralism that avoids the criticisms recovered above. With this, we intend to show that taking into account the contemporary interpretations of Althusser in a spinozist fashion, it is possible to propose a structuralism located beyond the criticisms that have been traditionally formulated about to it. We will argue that in the context of Althusserian structuralism there are no structures outside agency and without being, at the same time, permanently displaced and reinscribed in this agency. That is, we intend to show that, based on the Spinozist immanent causality, Althusser thinks structures as immanent to social practices, thereby avoids the criticisms traditionally made to structuralism.</text>

<text>In this paper we propose a critical review of Javier Echeverría’s proposal for an axiology of technoscience. Although we share with the author the idea that the techno-scientific practice is loaded with values and that they mobilize diverse processes of evaluation in conflict by the plurality of values of the agents involved, we consider, however, from a political perspective that the proposal for a formal or analytical and empirical axiology is unsatisfactory. First, because the political aspects in Echeverría’s thesis are considered as only one subsystem of values involved in the evaluation processes without taking into account dominant ideological-political positions and we think they are at the basis of technoscience itself. Secondly, as a consequence of the above mentioned, it is not taken into account that the development of technology has been directly related to its dominant political economic context. In order to show these criticisms and theoretical inadequacies, we will present a schematic outlline of the central points of the Echeverria proposal and its formalized system, and then we will discuss its contradictory aspects and the insufficiency of its contributions from the perspective of a praxiological turn, which proposes to analyze the scientific practice. To illustrate this criticism, we will contrast the author’s thesis and his proposals for peaceful and democratic solutions with that of other critical authors of technology (Langdon Winner and Andrew Feenberg), who have approached from a “political turn” the analysis of Technological and scientific practice. These discussions will show that new political perspectives of scientific technological practice are necessary that take into account the dominant ideological positions to be able to explain and propose systems of evaluation or transformation effective in the field of technoscience.</text>

<text>Social skills are social behaviour which contributes to social competence. Aggressive behaviour shows deficiencies in the effectiveness of social interactions. The aim of this study was to compare social skills and aggressive behaviour in a group of 12- to 17-year-old adolescents from different socioeconomic levels (SEL) who attend school in the Great San Miguel de Tucumán (Argentina). A non-experimental cross-sectional descriptive design was used. The purposive sampling was 1208 adolescents. The BAS-3 Socialization Battery, the Antisocial Behaviour Questionnaire (CC-A) and a sociodemographic survey were used. Pearson’s r and Stutent’s t were used in independent groups.18% of adolescents showed aggressive behaviour, even though the SEL did not affect such behaviour. Adolescents of low SEL showed more self-control and leadership skills than their peers with high SEL. However, this group also presented deficits in isolation and social anxiety/shyness. Those adolescents who were more aggressive appeared to have poorer skills of consideration with others and self-control. The results provide useful information for the local area to design programmes that improve assertive social skills.</text>

</text>

<text>This article takes up Foucault´s concern for the link between psychiatry and the workings of the penal system. In this case, it is an imbrication within the prison space, based on the study of mental health care devices. We present the main results of an empirical research that addressed the effects of the reorganization of the mental health care service of the Argentine Federal Penitentiary Service (SPF) since 2011. We used a qualitative methodology that involved field observation, interviews with key informers, and analyzing of laws and regulations and institutional documents. That research exposed tensions between different mental health care regimes in relation to the prison government. In Argentina, unlike another context, there are still few studies that analyze the specific intersection between mental health care and prison space. In line with local developments, we seek to contribute to understanding the articulations of mental health care and the logics of the prison order, through three problematic knots: the criteria of admission to the different programs of mental health care, the reasons of the logics of intervention of the different devices, and the ties and articulations woven (or not) in the different interventions around the notions of security, danger and order. We conclude that the reform of the psychiatric care service supposed the emergence of an “exogenous logic”, which tenses the traditional link between psychiatric practice and penitentiary order, while outlining the challenges presented in this new scenario.</text>

The conceptual framework combines contributions from vulnerability and human rights approach, youth studies and social theory in order to have a first definition on how to understand the subject and its context and the processes that mark life and affect health. The biographical method was used as a methodological strategy to investigate the most important events in the lives of young men and women living in “villas” (slums) and neighborhoods of Gran Buenos Aires, Argentina. The analysis of the trajectories is summarized in three propositions about the assumption of tasks and obligations typical of adult life at an early age, the supports that scaffold adverse situations and the tension between privatization and politicization of experience. Among the conclusions, it can be identified mechanisms that turns precarious the existence of people and define vulnerability in adolescence as a process in which social inequalities and the lack of timely intervention from violence overlap and other needs of adolescent protection. Keywords: inequalities, youth, life story, scaffolding, vulnerabilities.</text>

This article presents an exploratory study about the Intercultural Bilingual Education (IBE) in the town of Esperanza, province of Jujuy, a multicultural, multiethnic and plurilingual in the North-east of Argentina. The general objective of the research is to analyze how this modality impacts on the teacher´s role. The specific objectives are: to analize the impact of a multicultural society in teachers’ training and practice; to describe the relation between the regular teacher´s and the ethnic teacher’s visions on the educational act; to elicitate which contents of the guarani culture are taught together with the language; and to describe how the guaraní language teaching is developed.    In order to achieve this, we carry out a case study focused on the "Antarctica Argentina" School No. 230, Lot San Antonio, using qualitative techniques such as semi-structured interviews, observation and document analysis.    The results of the fieldwork show bewilderment at various institutional levels on how to develop their work since the implementation of the IBE, although the view is more optimistic from the ministerial supervision.     The difficulties suggest a lack of training, insufficient communication among the members of the school, incipient coordinated action between the proficient teachers and the regular teachers and disagreements in the way of assuming the teaching role to the place assigned to writing and planning. The conclusions point to the tensions in the cultural and professional identity of the teacher and in the professional identity of the teacher and the ethical identity of the students. Keywords: Intercultural Bilingual Education; identity; teacher’s role.</text>

<text>The article reflects, mainly, from the narrative, and from the performative display in a Cultural Center, on the possibilities of deconstruction of patrimonial and tourist stereotypes registered in images of the Quebrada de Humahuaca, province of Jujuy, Argentina. The stereotypes were identified and obtained in situ in the localities of Volcán, Purmamarca, Tilcara and Humahuaca from an emic perspective. For this analysis stereotypes about the Quebrada of the official site of Jujuy “visitejujuy.com” were also observed and considered. For this article the corpus of the four locations was reduced and two spaces, Humahuaca and Volcán, were specially selected, mentioning and showing to the rest. The first locality was considered as a great tourist affluence where patrimonial stereotypes can be visibly seen, and the second as contrastive, evidencing other views about heritage. Methodologically from the ethnographic approach, discourse analysis, with special emphasis on the narrative dimension for the study of the image as a discourse, and tools from semiotics together with performance studies that enrich this analytical proposal, it can be given an account of the possibilities of deconstruction of stereotyped tales. In this sense, it is worth underlining that the courses as narratives, textualize the Quebradeño landscape, configuring a “textual landscape” that enables the construction of a “visual narrative”. The performance of the “visual narrative” that exhibits the deconstruction, initial, of stereotypes through the contrast, was presented in a Conference at the Faculty of Philosophy and Letters of the UBA, (2015) within the framework of a Research Conference on heritage and tourism, in which I take part of a postdoctoral research on strategic issues (CONICET).</text>

ABSTRACTSince the end of the last military dictatorship (1976/1983) to the present, Argentina has implemented a series of transitional measures of remunerative type (such as the Judgments to the Military Junta or judgments against humanity’s crimes taking place today) and restorative type (as public petitions for forgiveness by agents or State’s representatives). These measures, along with others based on the right to truth, are assumed that in a micro-social level, help to dignify the victims of human rights violations and, at the macro-social level, allow progress in the construction of an inclusive history, the recovery of intergroup trust and even initiate intergroup reconciliation processes in (the social society). This article explores the knowledge, appreciation, emotional impact and perceives efficiency in a sample of argentine population (N=477), taking into account the level of exposure to violence and the ideological positioning of participants. From results it is clear that the available information about the remunerative and restorative measures is low, and this knowledge descends between the not affected population and in those ideologically self-positioned towards the right. The approval, perceived effectiveness and emotional impact of the remunerative measures are generally positive, though they change depending on these variables. The efficiency of the restorative measures is more limited and the reconciliation, which is considered desirable, depends primarily on the application of justice and punishment for those responsible for the violence. <text>This article finds the foundation in the economic organization that took the movement of unemployed in Argentina (Piquetero Movement) from the economic crisis of 2001/2002, experience known as Popular Economy (EP) that today brings together many of its actors in the Confederation of Workers of the Popular Economy (CTEP). In this context, the article makes explicit, on the one hand, the conceptual differences that exist between the EP and its analytical resemblance as Social and Solidarity Economy, Informal Economy or Marginal Mass and, on the other hand, it investigates the relations that characterize it to indicate, as a distinctive feature, its commercial and financial subordination to the traditional capitalist economy. To arrive at these results, a inductive methodology was carried out, based on many empirical experiences and a theoretical analysis of the processes of social valorization of work and its financial practices.</text>

Intentaremos verificar también si la idea de «geocultura» -propia del trabajo de Kusch- registra algunos antecedentes en Jung.ABSTRACTWe intend to investigate the relationship between the work of Carl Gustav Jung and the thought of the Argentinian philosopher Rodolfo Kusch. This study is based on the explicit references repeatedly made by Kusch in different texts of the Swiss psychiatrist. There is an effective and verifiable link we can understand through the category of “reception” (in the sense of Gadamer-Jauss). This reception of Jung’s work becomes a dialogue rather than an uncritical reproduction. Kusch’s work suspends the search of academical originality; above all it aims to articulate concepts of Western tradition (from the fields of philosophy, anthropology and psychology mainly) to understand the cultural horizon which has forged the thought of the amautas. This global objective invites to consolidate, modify and engulf the Jungian approach to build a creative dialogue but not a mere application. To accomplish this task, we’ll focus with special emphasis on the notions of “symbol”, “opposite” and “balance”; and also we’ll try to see if the idea of “geoculture” -a main category of Kusch’s thought- has some background in Jung’s work. Keywords: Dialogue, Worldview, Opposites, Reception, Symbol.</text>

However, his own vision of moral language and practical argumentation is subject of discussion. This work aims to figure out what was the metaethical position held by the Scottish philosopher. After exposing the more important interpretations on the issue (the subjectivist-individual, the emotivist and the naturalist-objectivist), and recalling the main passages of the humean work that support their respective readings, some limits to the emotivist interpretation of Hume will be shown and the position on moral language sustained by the Schottish philosopher will be defended. Keywords: Emotivism; Hume, metaethics; naturalism.</text>

Fulfilling a decisive role in the daily life of the neighborhood, the market created an urban labour fabric and social network shaped by its tireless commercial rhythm. The cultural and historical thickness of the building, the senses by which it was impregnated and its relevant aesthetic value contributed to the fact that in 1997, before being closed, it was declared a Cultural and Provincial Heritage in order to safeguard its architectural structure as a testimony of the collective memory of the people from Tucuman. Years later, the old building of the Abasto was architecturally intervened, building the Central Shopping Tucumano (2012) and the five-star hotel, Hilton Garden Inn (2014). However, the extended time span from 1997 to 2012 was marked by a complex web of economic interests, political decisions and civil society interventions that modeled the heritage treatment of the emblematic fruit and vegetable center and that will be reconstructed thanks to the analysis of the discourses of the graphic press of Tucumán during the period mention above. In this work I intend to reflect on the Mercado de Abasto as an architectural and cultural relic and to demonstrate its controversial patrimonialization process; the use of this concept allows to adopt a patrimonial perspective as the social construction that refers to identity and analisys of the actors involved in this process, as well as to the set of meanings, negotiations, disputes and agreements reached among them. Keywords: La Ciudadela; Marketplace of Supply; Patrimonialization process; Tucumán.</text>
