<text>Published in Argentina during the last military dictatorship, La flor de hierro (1978), whose background is the conquest and the colonial situation, shows motherhood figures that challenge the feminine sexual imaginary imposed by the hegemonic discourse of the novel’s production context. I propose the novel displays four models of dissident motherhood (denied motherhood, forced motherhood, illegitimate motherhood and motherhood that strengthen female bonds) which are produced and coerced by a subjugator masculine power and are represented by three protagonists. These motherhoods are opposed to another that is idealized; unlike the previous ones, it is capable of resisting man’s oppression. Consequently, it also acquires a non-normative stance. While the first four models are compared to colonial “mudded cities” —Medinas, Santiago del Estero—, the last one is compared to the “golden cities” —Trapalanda, El Dorado—. Therefore, feminine dominates masculine only in utopian places, this kind of domination belongs to the order of the imaginary, so feminine rebellion is present in this Demitrópulo’s early novel but as an undeveloped possibility. In order to rethink the concept of dissident motherhood, this research is a reflection about the contributions made by different fields of feminist theory. Regarding the objectives, it seeks, firstly, to read La flor de hierro from a perspective that focuses on female voices, marginalized by the official discourse of the years of State terrorism, and, secondly, to contribute to the study of the original narrative of Demitrópulos, which has not been explored enough.</text>

<text>The objective of the article is to reflect on “panelismo” (the action of being a panelist) as a television mega genre. These programs occupy many screen hours and are characterized by controversy and debate around current political and media issues in which a group of panelists represent a polyphonic range of voices, assume different roles and diversity of positions, being the conductor who moderates the debate; “panelismo” cuts across various television genres, channels, and schedules, hence the relevance of its analysis. For this work we start from the systematization and analysis of the programming grids of the air channels of the metropolitan area of Buenos Aires (Canal 13, Televisión Pública, Net Tv, Canal 9, Telefe and América TV), thus we characterize these products from a general view and preliminary outline some typologies of “panelismo” TV programs. To carry out the work we are based on a methodology that is organized in the articulation of different analytical tools from the use of qualitative and quantitative techniques in a complementary way, from the analysis of the programming grids to the viewing of the “panelismo” programs.</text>

<text>This article analyzes the strategies for community strengthening and intergenerational identity promoted by the Diaguita people Los Chuschagasta (Choromoro Valley, Tucumán) in the last six years in a context of aggravation of territorial conflicts and delegitimization of their identity. The triggering questions were, how are these intergenerational exchanges characterized? And what role do the new generations have in these collective tours? It starts from the idea that communalization processes constitute heterogeneous trajectories through which people feel part of and are recognized as peers, as community members. In this collective evolution, the role assumed by the new generations is approached in its procedural and relational nature, considering their positions within the framework of territorial conflicts, their judicialization and expectations of migration. Likewise, rather than adult-centered looks, emphasis is placed on the agency of girls and young people. The activities identified, based on the ethnographic work, were the “Boys and Girls Workshop”, the “Javier Chocobar Ceramic Community Workshop” and the promotion of cinema-debate cycles. It is concluded that the future of the community, marked by the defense of the territory, is supported by intergenerational ties where: adult community members participate with their wealth of knowledge, experiences of resistance and the intention of transmitting that cultural legacy; and the new generations play a key role in its resignification, based on their interventions and the new community-political roles assumed.</text>

<text>The aim of this article is to investigate the literary writings of the memoir of Catamarca in order to contrast the representations that emerge from the corpus’ texts with the legitimate version of the facts provided by the hegemonic discourse of the last Argentinian military dictatorship (1976-1983). We joined the perspective that literature is a social discourse and, consequently, it accounts for the debates, migrations and changes in meaning that going around in a society. We also assume the Ricourian conception of individual and collective memoirs, in which language is the latter most elemental framework, in order to regain a real event lived in a common past. The understanding of the corpus begin by from the tracking of a repertoire of topics similar to that proposed by J. Corbatta (2010:157-158) to analyze the particular way in which each unit produces meaning in its textualization since the logics created are supported by the mediation between historical consciousness and affective appropriation and the structures of feeling that are built from the Military Process in this portion of the country.</text>

<text>Critical rhetoric questions the universalist positions of reason. In addition, in China, researchers have reported a rhetorical art different from Greek. Finally, in Latin America, studies of Mexican rhetoric that expressly seek their categories to explain the art of speech of indigenous cultures are fascinating. From this perspective, non-Eurocentric of knowledge, we wanted to study the discourses of Quechua-speakers from Cusco concerning the art of the word. As they are no researchers of decolonial rhetoric, we lay the foundations of it in this paper, and for this, we use in terms of rhetorical practices refer the pioneering investigations of Portilla in Mexico, and in what to decolonial studies, to the investigations initiated by Rivera Cusicanqui. In this paper, we analyze the speeches that appeared in an assembly of a community of Cusco in Peru. We study the speeches that refer to speaking. The results show that for the assembly members, the art of good speaking is in having the power to speak and the power to give the word and have the power to persuade the other to shut up.</text>

<text>The process of labor and birth constitutes a relevant event for the analysis of fatherhood (s) experiences that have been scarcely addressed in the youth population. The specialized bibliography highlights the importance of the participation of men at that time to strengthen the bond with their children and their partners, as well as generate rethinking about their own fatherhood and masculinity. There is evidence of the benefits of early contact of both parents with their newborn children reported in various studies, substantially improving the later social, psychological, and behavioral aspects of the children. Within the framework of doctoral research that addressed the study of youth parenthood in popular neighborhoods, this article presents some findings and reflections on the experiences of young parents in the process of labor and birth of their children in two public maternity hospitals. The interviews were conducted with forty young male parents living in a popular neighbourhood of La Plata (province of Buenos Aires) during the period 2013-2015 based on an intentional sample selected by a snowball, based on the criteria of accessibility and heterogeneity. As evidenced throughout the work, the different forms of participation of young people will not depend exclusively on the decision of their partners and/or their own wishes, but also on the various criteria of the intervening medical team and the spaces enabled by the different health institutions that tend to discourage it, directly or indirectly. In this way, there is a range of different experiences that include young people as full participants, secondary participants and even completely absent in these processes, in most of the cases analysed.</text>

<text>This work proposes a reconstruction of the general framework of Slavoj Žižek’s theoretical approach, focusing on the central stage given to his notion of lack as the ontological foundation. With this general objective, it is proposed, first of all, to seek the traces of this “negative” dimension in his different theoretical influences, especially the psychoanalysis of Jacques Lacan and the German philosophical idealism -in particular, the works of Hegel and Schelling. Based on this reconstruction, it is attempted to restore the different meanings that this notion of lack entails through his theorization. Secondly, it is proposed to retrieve the opposition established by Žižek between the Lacanian’s lack conception and the poststructuralist perspective. This opposition seeks to be set up within the framework of the distinction made by Tønder and Thomassen between the “ontologies of lack” -whose main exponent is Lacan- and the “ontologies of abundance” -which includes authors commonly framed in poststructuralism. Based on these debates, the work attempts to investigate the specificity of Žižek’s theoretical-political proposal, seeking to elucidate the borders that separate it from other branches of contemporary thought. Finally, it is aimed to analyze how some fundamental notions of the author, such as the notion of subject and his conception of the act as a “divine miracle”, are based on a radicalization of his notion of lack as “pure emptiness”, which poses important challenges to his theory.</text>

For this reason, at first, a general reconstruction of those theoretical approaches is carried out that from the Social Sciences, and particularly from Social Anthropology, allow us to think about the production and administration of conflicts and then delve into the specificities of the Ombudsman’s Office. in the state field of conflict management. Based on the ethnographic work carried out, the ways in which the aforementioned organism constructs and intervenes on conflicts due to (non) access to the habitat are problematized by deploying a set of representations, values, legal sensitivities and practices that seek to achieve the so-called access to rights and justice. Thus, in its attempt to legitimize and differentiate itself from other state organisms, the adoption of a rights approach, the generation of instances of dialogue and mediation, the articulation between various organisms and social actors, the construction of close social relations with those who process a conflict, the formalization of the bureaucracy, among other aspects that will be mentioned in the course of the article and that allow delimiting and think, in a situated way, the actions of the Ombudsman’s Office.</text>

If we begin the process of semiotic reading by characterizing this object as a sign of culture, we will need to set its dynamic trajectory in motion, starting from its conditions of production, circulation, and reception. This will allow us to infer the internal dialogism and the plurivalence of the languages that interact as transforming mechanisms of culture.</text>

<text>In the province of Jujuy, especially in the regions of the Quebrada de Humahuaca and the Puna, the practice of singing coplas is a phenomenon that remains alive within the social practices of native communities.
This paper aims to analyze the function of copla singing in relation to the identity construction of its performers, both in the individual dimension that distinguishes the singer as a subject with a specific social role and in the collective projection that the singer and the song have for the community to which they belong.
Two festivities that acquire ritual tones are the object of this study: the “Encuentro de Copleros” of Purmamarca, held annually in the first days of January, and the “Topamiento de Comadres”, which takes place on the Thursday before Carnival celebrations. On both occasions, the singers organize themselves in rounds or circles that constitute true scenarios for the formation and circulation of figurative processes, through which the subject constructs himself or herself as such and configures a model of the world.
Within the circle, the performer’s voice and body play a central role. These elements appear in the discourse of a subgroup of coplas referring to singing, the singer, and performance.
In this paper, I analyze, from a semiotic perspective, the ritual celebration of the circle of copla singers, establishing discursive relations with the texts recorded during the aforementioned festivities.</text>

Northwestern Argentina is culturally characterized by the preservation of ancestral traditions and customs that contributed to the configuration of the idiosyncrasy and worldview of ancient civilizations and that, in one way or another, have been transmitted from generation to generation.
For this paper, we have chosen a text originally characterized by ritual: the Pin-Pin, a mixture of sacred and profane cultural symbols of clearly tribal roots, whose ceremonial features have been preserved in oral memory. These features can be recovered through a Lotmanian semiotic reading in order to generate new intercommunications.
A series of accounts was collected in several localities of the Jujuy Ramal region and in the capital city concerning what the Pin-Pin means, in order to account for its transculturation after the arrival of the Spaniards.</text>

<text>The discovery of the mutilated image of Christ in its sanctuary, located in the highlands of the Quebrada de Humahuaca, shocks the parishioners of the nearby locality. After the initial moment of astonishment, a series of assumptions arise concerning the perpetrators of the act, as well as subsequent discussions regarding whether the image should be restored or replaced.
Various narratives emerge around the making of the original figure of Christ and that of the Virgin, which was located in a nearby chapel. Reference is also made to the actions of a priest, a representative of Liberation Theology, who had been questioned some years earlier, and continues to be questioned even today by a sector of local and provincial society.
The discourse of oral narrative on this subject can show us the conceptualization of part of “social reality”. It is of interest to observe how oral narratives reveal, in their semantic content, a way of seeing the world. At the same time, through their formal organization, they also structure a way of categorizing the social world.
Categories, schemes, and models are the central concepts that guide our inquiry and make it possible to draw inferences about local power relations. The references that appeared in informal conversations also help explain the discursive position of the speakers. The analysis of these references provides data that can be related to the direct or symbolic action of various disciplinary institutions operating in our society.</text>

<text>The central objective of this paper is to demonstrate, through discourse analysis, that the Peruvian chronicler Guaman Poma de Ayala left in his work Nueva corónica y buen gobierno not only a record of everyday life during the colonial period, but also texts that reveal his skill as a writer in using writing, a Spanish legacy, to constitute through it a front of resistance against colonization and a way of granting permanence to the values proper to Andean culture.
The discourse analysis is based on the proposals of Émile Benveniste and Mikhail Bakhtin, emphasizing the subjectivity of language and the dialogism that emerges from the interaction of different voices.
The chronicler achieves a communicative process that attempts to establish a dialogue between cultures, although this dialogue is not fully accomplished. Nevertheless, his discourse inaugurates in the Andean region what we currently recognize as the heterogeneity of the American subject.</text>

<text>Many communities in the province of Jujuy still preserve a rich oral tradition whose origins go back to pre-Hispanic times. These oral discourses have undergone permanent reworkings as a result of their conflictive intersection with the colonial cultural universe.
By royal mandate, priests and colonial officials initiated a manipulation of these texts, which conferred identity on the pre-Hispanic subject and through which they sought to establish new sociocultural paradigms in America. Drawing on Aristotelian doctrines, the rational incapacity of the Indigenous person was demonstrated, and in this way the policy of domination of the more perfect over the less perfect was affirmed.
Missionaries were responsible for the manipulation of the imaginary of Indigenous communities. Trained in the use of the word, they took possession of Indigenous discourses. They emptied them of the contents that gave them meaning and had governed the pre-Hispanic world. They filled them with new meanings, often opposed and contradictory to the worldview of the native peoples of America.
This paper seeks to observe how, in the stories of the Ukumar, the potentialities of evangelizing discourse can be reactivated through the updating of the image of the monstrous as an image of racial degeneration.
Approaching the reading of the different versions of the Ukumar is an attempt to reactivate fragments of the discourse of evangelization, which is summoned in these texts through the monstrous and intensified by the description of the satanic.</text>
