Introducción: En la etapa actual, y de manera general, analizamos que durante el avance tecnológico, los actores y actoras sociales (partidarios y no partidarios de sectores políticos) se vinculan a través de las Redes Sociales de Internet (RSI), y divulgan sus creencias, sus culturas, sus ideologías, y, por sobre todo, su manera de auto-representarse (Di Prospero, 2011).
Parece oportuno y significativo analizar cómo las mujeres construyen su figura política y partidaria en la red social Facebook, en procura de disputar espacios de decisión política y puestos de representación social (Rosales, 2010). La elección de esta red social como objeto de eta investigación, siguiendo los datos de la consultora Carrier (2014, como se citó en Coiutti y Sánchez 2017), es una de las más utilizadas en Argentina con una participación del 89% de usuarios de internet. Por otro lado, las redes sociales están adquiriendo mayor protagonismo y brindan un novedoso canal de comunicación entre políticos y ciudadanos.
Si bien son comunes, particularmente desde el marketing, los estudios sobre el rol y la imagen de los candidatos políticos (Uranga, 2005), son pocos los que abordan específicamente a la mujer, su autoconstrucción y participación política (López, 2009), teniendo en cuenta los diferentes estereotipos representados.

Introducción: Transitamos en un contexto de convergencia económica, política, social y sobre todo tecnológica, donde la multiplicidad de pantallas, la velocidad de transmisión de la información y la interactividad se han vuelto herramientas
básicas de la vida diaria de las personas.
La comunicación, en el sentido amplio de la palabra, pasa a ser atravesada por la velocidad de los datos, la masividad y la viralización para convertir a los mensajes mucho más accesibles, públicos, adaptables y al alcance de todos. Si hablamos de comunicación, en este sentido, esta investigación enfoca su análisis en el campo periodístico y de medios. Observa al periodismo digital como un proceso social y comunicacional complejo que se compone de varios elementos, que transforman la manera de hacer periodismo tradicional. La realidad social cambia por ende el periodismo como forma de interpretación de la misma también cambia.
De esta manera, surge la necesidad de explorar a las nuevas prácticas periodísticas, sus modos de adaptarse al entorno virtual, las variaciones en el proceso de producción de la información, la utilización de las herramientas que posibilita la web para alcanzar a una mayor audiencia y la interacción con los nuevos usuarios. A ello se suma la importancia de analizar el rol de los medios como institución y de los comunicadores, quienes, debido a estos cambios en sus estructuras, deberán utilizar nuevas herramientas para llegar a su audiencia.

Introducción: Durante la primera mitad de los 70 en la Argentina, los medios de comunicación introdujeron una redefinición en las significaciones de la esfera sociopolítica, que transformó las concepciones dominantes sobre la oposición política, social y sindical (Finchelstein, 2016; Franco, 2012a, 2012b). Estos nuevos sentidos se constituyeron en razón de la concurrencia de, por un lado, el desarrollo histórico de representaciones sobre la disidencia a los regímenes reaccionarios (caracterizadas desde mediados de los años 50 por extremar las interpretaciones de ese carácter contrario); y, por otro, la apropiación de sentidos introducidos en tiempos de Guerra Fría sobre el comunismo y la recurrencia de pensarlo como un enemigo interno.
La premisa fundamental de los preceptos interpuestos por la Guerra Fría comportaba conferirle carácter interno a la lucha contra el comunismo; de esta forma, el giro estuvo dado en el desplazamiento de la amenaza contra la nación, antes externa, hacia dentro de las fronteras (Rodríguez Agüero, 2013). Bajo esta prescripción, la oposición política adquirió el carácter de enemigo interno. Esta operación estuvo caracterizada, entre otros elementos, por una sistemática denuncia sobre la “infiltración marxista” en múltiples ámbitos de la sociedad. Las imputaciones proferidas sobre este enemigo alertaban sobre la amenaza que implicaba la instalación del comunismo en la región.

Introducción: Esta investigación tiene como tema central, analizar las transformaciones en la producción de los avisos de propaganda política, durante la campaña electoral del Frente Para la Victoria (FPV) publicada en octubre del año 2011, en el diario impreso El Tribuno de la provincia de Jujuy. Para ello, será necesario definir algunos conceptos como “propaganda política”, “comunicación” y a su vez, identificar los elementos y/o estrategias comunicativas que van a ir conformando el diseño de los avisos. Entre ellos, fotografías, tipografías, elementos históricos, simbólicos, etc., todo aquello que forme parte de la construcción de la propaganda política.
El mundo cambia constantemente, en algunos casos de manera radical y se necesita estrategias y técnicas de comunicación que se adecuen a esos cambios. Hurtado Calderón afirma: “[…] las imágenes van adquiriendo otras miradas porque los contextos y las narraciones van mutando” (2009:4). De esta manera se torna importante identificar los significados vigentes, como así también los principios, valores, prácticas, etc. Lo que me ocupa es la posibilidad de “radiografiar” (García Beaudoux, D´Adamo, Slavinsky: 2011) la estructura, el esqueleto de la propaganda política, dar a conocer su calidad de medio o soporte y desmenuzar los métodos y/o elementos que utiliza en su producción. Para ello, el trabajo se nutrirá, con algunos aportes provistos por la Semiótica.
Actualmente, es posible sostener que “la comunicación construye poder” (Noguera: 2002-80), el cual no termina una vez que el/la candidato/a llega a su cargo, sino que es algo que se construye constantemente. Así “(…) imagen y poder en este nuevo tiempo trabajan juntas. Imagen como proceso mental y poder como lucha de intereses” (Hurtado Calderón: 2009:4). Esta relación, es la que me interpela en la investigación.

Introducción: Les estudiantes de la Escuela Superior de Música de la Provincia de Jujuy tomaron el establecimiento por 10 días, entre abril y mayo de 2011. Esta protesta, si bien constituyó un acontecimiento en sí mismo, formó parte de un proceso ‒ya concluido‒ de presentación de demandas, iniciado a principios de la década de los 90. Dichos reclamos emergieron a raíz de la insuficiente y deplorable situación edilicia del Conservatorio, que les impedía estudiar música de una forma que consideraban plena. Elles no se conformaban con estudiar este arte a duras penas; precisamente, resumieron sus reivindicaciones bajo la consigna de la lucha por un “edificio digno”. La presente tesis refiere a ese suceso y al proceso en el que se enmarcó, considerando la producción y redefinición de discursos, identidades y acciones de protesta.
Dadas las deficientes condiciones materiales del inmueble de la Escuela de Música, sus estudiantes (y docentes) afrontaron diversos problemas. Soportaban cada día intentar aprender en aulas sin aislamiento acústico, imprescindibles para evitar la superposición del sonido entre clases y ensayos realizados en espacios contiguos. Sin paredes insonorizadas, era muy difícil desarrollar actividades que involucraran el canto, la ejecución de instrumentos o el análisis de la música; debido a que era complicado escuchar claramente a les profesores, les compañeres, e incluso la propia interpretación musical. Al no contar con un estudio de grabación ni un salón de actos para evaluaciones o presentaciones, tenían que gestionar préstamos de espacios en otras instituciones. En pocas palabras, su formación musical era coartada de manera específica.

Introducción: El presente trabajo de investigación analiza las terminologías empleadas en referencia a las personas con discapacidad en los diarios impresos El Tribuno de Jujuy y El Expreso; los diarios digitales: Somos Jujuy, Jujuy al Momento, Jujuy Online, El Submarino, Aquí Jujuy y El Tribuno digital. Asimismo, se analiza el testimonio de cinco trabajadores de prensa de los medios LW 8, Canal 4, Radio Universidad, diario digital La Voz de Jujuy, Radio Nacional, Semanario El Expreso y El Tribuno de Jujuy. Todos de producción local y en el periodo de enero a agosto de 2017, los cuales conforman el corpus de análisis.
La elección del tema como objeto de estudio surgió porque es frecuente leer y/o escuchar en los medios de comunicación el uso de terminologías tales como: discapacitado, ciego, sordo, rengo, inválido, deficiente, autista, invidente, no vidente, entre otras, cuando se refieren a las personas con discapacidad; terminologías que desde el Modelo ¨Social de la Discapacidad y el enfoque de los Derechos Humanos, son discriminatorias y estigmatizantes. Otro de los motivos por el cual se seleccionó este tema de investigación, se encuentra íntimamente vinculado al tesista, ya que es una persona con discapacidad visual (persona ciega).

Introducción: El análisis de la comunicación institucional es un aspecto fundamental para la vida y desarrollo de toda institución de carácter social, político, económico o religioso. En éste último caso, las instituciones religiosas y sus prácticas (rituales) han sido estudiadas desde diferentes disciplinas como la sociología, la antropología y la historia, entre otras. En éste contexto pretendemos desarrollar una investigación en comunicación institucional que se preocupa por analizar las principales y vigentes formas en que la Iglesia Católica se comunica en Jujuy, a través del análisis particular de la misma como institución (fundamentalmente en su área de comunicación) y, especialmente, durante una de sus prácticas rituales (o festividades) más importante, llevada a cabo durante el mes de Octubre de 2009: las peregrinaciones al Santuario de la Virgen del Rosario, de Río Blanco y Paypaya.
En este marco pretendemos investigar los procesos comunicacionales de la Iglesia Católica y , particularmente de su área de comunicación. Partimos, para ello, de la elaboración de un diagnóstico en comunicación institucional (Prieto Castillo, Uranga y Bartolli, 1992) entendiendo que toda actividad realizada por una institución comunica: la deliberada y la no intencional. Teniendo en cuenta esta metodología de la investigación en comunicación institucional, así como también la conceptualización de imagen institucional entendida como "una complicada red de actitudes y criterios que se forma en la mente de un grupo de personas a partir de las políticas y los productos que esta ofrece (...) la imagen institucional es la representación mental (cognitiva y afectiva) de una institución como un todo. Está formada de conocimientos, creencias, ideas y sentimientos que surgen de la totalidad de las actividades y comunicaciones" (Muriel y Rota, 1980 p.53) reflexionamos acerca de las representaciones e interpretaciones tanto de la institución como de sus adherentes, fieles y demás públicos externos. La metodología del diagnóstico proveerá un orden al recorrido de nuestro trabajo. Sin embargo, considerando que la comunicación se nutre de diferentes procesos, relaciones y significaciones; consideramos investigar aspectos vinculantes desde ejes analíticos que cruzarán el trabajo en cuestión (principalmente cultura y poder).

Introducción: Esta investigación se propone abordar desde un análisis interpretativo las representaciones discursivas sobre las mujeres que construyen los medios gráficos de la provincia de Jujuy durante la cobertura de la Fiesta Nacional de los Estudiantes (FNE).
Desarrollamos este trabajo, tomando como punto de partida la capacidad de los medios gráficos para crear y reproducir conceptos, esquemas, modelos, etc., a partir de los cuales las personas dan sentido al mundo social que las rodea (Vasilachis de Gialdino, 1997) y de la participación de la prensa escrita en la definición y legitimación de marcos de lectura de la realidad, por ejemplo en el modo en que se perciben los roles sociales (Brunelli, 2005).
En este sentido, atendemos la influencia que tienen los medios de comunicación en la construcción y difusión de representaciones sociales (Vasilachis de Gialdino, 1997) y que los mismos constituyen una fuente de acceso privilegiado al conocimiento de estas (Zullo, 1999), en tanto “construcciones simbólicas individuales y/o colectivas a las que los sujetos apelan o las que crean para interpretar el mundo” (Vasilachis de Gialdino, 1997: 301).

Introducción: Estamos siendo partícipes de una Sociedad que involucra una serie de cambios, tanto en los aspectos políticos como económicos, pero principalmente en los tecnológicos. Uno de esos ámbitos, el de la comunicación, sufre de constantes y vertiginosas transformaciones que incluyen a la mayoría de los habitantes del mundo. Es así que nuestra provincia no ha quedado relegada en cuanto a la utilización de estas nuevas formas de comunicación que Internet ha propiciado en contextos globalizadores.
En este caso se pretende investigar sobre la red social denominada Facebook, creada en Estados Unidos y usada en una gran cantidad de países del mundo que acceden a Internet. El texto “Menores y Redes Sociales” establece que llegando a fines del año 2010 las redes sociales1 cuentan con 1.000 millones de usuarios, éstas se han convertido en la punta de lanza de la denominada Web 2.0: un modo distinto de mirar y usar la red, que pone énfasis en la apropiación por parte de los usuarios, que además de apropiarse de lo que otros publican y generar sus propios contenidos, quieren ser protagonistas de todo lo que sucede en Internet (Bringué y Sádaba, 2011).

Introducción: En la actualidad los medios ejercen un papel fundamental y la información tiene un rol importante. En esta línea, el cambio de paradigma llevó a que las personas abandonen su rol pasivo para adoptar una posición participativa y activa dentro del proceso comunicativo.
La comunicación atravesó diferentes cambios a lo largo del tiempo y desde un tiempo hasta hoy contamos con la fuerte presencia de los medios digitales de comunicación en la sociedad. Estos medios que en sus inicios fueron alternativos, actualmente ocupan un gran lugar por su llegada, modalidad y características: “La mayor parte de las plataformas web 2.0 comenzaron siendo servicios indeterminados, pensados para el intercambio de contenidos comunicacionales o creativos”. (Van Dijck, 2016, p. 13)
Asimismo, el crecimiento de las tecnologías de la información y la comunicación se dan en conjunto con la sociedad transformándose en “parte de las prácticas sociales cotidianas”. (Van Dijck, 2016, p. 13)

Introducción: San Salvador de Jujuy resulta una ciudad llamativa en la construcción de su espacio público. Si alguien se propone recorrerla, podrá sorprenderse con diversas escenografías que muestran múltiples formas de vivir esta ciudad. A partir de la toma del espacio público y su resignificación, variadas son las expresiones con las que un o una transeúnte puede toparse al caminar. El sólo paseo contemplativo podrá evidenciar esta diversidad. En zonas céntricas de la ciudad, es frecuente encontrar vendedores ambulantes en busca de clientes para sus productos; vendedores callejeros que disponen de ellas para la exposición de sus mercancías y transacciones comerciales; lugares establecidos de encuentro y descanso; sitios históricos que se convierten en espacios propicios para la práctica de deportes extremos; y más. El espacio público en San Salvador de Jujuy, presenta un colorido especial por las transformaciones que en él se realizan. Las calles y plazas pasan a ser escenarios de expresiones artísticas; las veredas, vidrieras de exposición de mercadería; las escaleras y los puentes, locales comerciales y la peatonal, un espacio de exposición de ideas.

Introducción: El presente trabajo se propone analizar una serie de actuaciones en relación a las nuevas Tecnologías de Información y Comunicación (en adelante TIC), es decir cómo estas impactan en el tradicional modelo de enseñanza y aprendizaje y la trascendencia social que estas conllevan desde la implementación del Programa Conectar Igualdad (en adelante PCI) a partir de 2010, más específicamente en la educación rural de la provincia de Jujuy. Para ello, se tomó como caso la Escuela Agrotécnica N° 12 de la localidad de El Fuerte, pueblo que se encuentra distante de los grandes centros urbanos, donde hay una escuela primaria y secundaria, a la que asisten jóvenes de la comunidad y de localidades cercanas. Este paraje se encuentra entre las laderas del Cerro Centinela y las Serranías de Santa Bárbara, lo cual configuran un paisaje totalmente rural con un escenario geográfico incomparable, en el marco de las yungas jujeñas.

Introducción: En esta tesis nos propusimos abordar e indagar desde una dimensión política de la comunicación cómo los feminismos han interpelado e interpelan con mayor profundidad en el último tiempo, volviéndose nuevos marcos de acción y de reflexión colectiva para la transformación social. Consideramos que la comunicación es una práctica social y que, como proceso de producción de sentidos, es en las prácticas sociales que podemos encontrar entradas para conocer y comprender nuestra cultura y sociedad. Cuando hablamos de prácticas, hablamos de las personas que en ellas interactúan y la producen, de las nociones y matices culturales y políticos que las habitan y del social histórico en el que son producidas (Villamayor, 2018).
Ante un contexto local y regional de recrudecimiento de la violencia de género e índices crecientes de femicidios, transfemicidios y travesticidios y de la visibilización de formas que toma la violencia contra los cuerpos y los territorios, en los últimos años (desde el 2015 aproximadamente) se fortaleció la organización y se amplió la visibilidad del movimiento de mujeres, disidencias, travestis, trans, no binaries, junto con sus demandas y denuncias. Con ese crecimiento irrumpieron colectivos y organizaciones que luchan contra las violencias de género en distintos espacios de acción e incidencia. Nos proponemos entablar un diálogo con una de esas colectivas situadas: “El Jardín de las y les presentes: feria y festival feminista”, para recuperar su experiencia. Se trata de una colectiva que se nombró a sí misma como feminista posicionándose políticamente, movilizada por la militancia y el activismo ante la violencia sistemática, la profundización de las desigualdades de género, los crímenes de odio, la necesidad de trabajo y la feminización de la pobreza.

Introducción: En esta investigación el/la lector/a se encontrará con la temática relacionada a la Fiesta Nacional de los Estudiantes. Si bien otros trabajos puntualizan en indagaciones acerca del género a partir de las candidatas a reina por ejemplo, el análisis de esta tesis estuvo puesto en los roles de género del trabajo juvenil y las representaciones de las imágenes que difunde el Diario Pregón mediante el suplemento que año a año comercializa. El foco estuvo puesto en la visión hegemónica que el medio de comunicación representa en torno a las prácticas desarrolladas en la construcción de la carroza por parte de los/las jóvenes. A través de las imágenes seleccionadas en tres épocas distintas se pudo reflejar que esa representación hegemónica acerca de la división sexual del trabajo se fue imponiendo, al punto tal de incidir en las elecciones de cada joven para desempeñar una labor determinada. A pesar de esto, se pudo visualizar que hay cambios en los roles de trabajo a lo largo de la historia y se irán afianzando de manera paulatina en la sociedad jujeña con las prácticas cotidianas de los/as estudiantes.

La región de la Puna y Quebrada de Jujuy constituye un mundo cuyo capital simbólico y cultural, en la actualidad, es utilizado como materia prima para producir literatura diversa desde puntos de vista, perspectivas y categorizaciones exteriores al mismo. Suele intentarse percibirlo y apreciarlo con lentes y soportes ideológicos y teóricos que fueron desarrollados conforme a los convencionalismos religiosos, sociales, culturales, económicos y políticos hegemónicos. Estos convencionalismos, en buena parte, proceden de las perspectivas hegemónicas del periodo colonial hispano o bien tienen relaciones genealógicas con ellas.
Cristóbal Colón, con sus perspectivas y su visión del mundo medieval, en las costas del archipiélago de las Antillas “observaba” sirenas y criaturas como las que supuestamente existirían en el paraíso cristiano. No veía en las playas a mujeres desnudas disfrutando de la natación o del agua. Con relación a ese contexto, Ricardo Harren, autor de “ La conquista erótica de las indias” (1991, pág. 27), interpreta que “Tras la fascinación inicial por los buenos salvajes, vino el desprecio hacia los indios, hacia lo diferente e incomprensible (...) El Vaticano se vio obligado a dictaminar, tras sesudas reflexiones y no pocas dudas, que los indios americanos eran humanos y tenían almas para salvar”.
