La Calistenia en la ciudad de San Salvador de Jujuy Subject The topic of the resource Comunicación Social Description An account of the resource Introducción: La presente tesis de grado se propone investigar los entramados de significados socioculturales de un grupo de jóvenes varones que realizan la práctica corporal de la Calistenia1 en la ciudad de San Salvador de Jujuy. Los jóvenes adscriptos a la Calistenia nos invitan a reflexionar y cuestionarnos acerca de su relación con la práctica y fuera de ella, sus identidades, sus formas de usos y apropiaciones de sus territorios, sus relatos de sí y del mundo, ya que creemos son agentes activos y productores culturales que, a través de sus cuerpos y movimientos, se encuentran comunicando. Entonces la respuesta fue que quería concluir la etapa universitaria que deje inconclusa por años, con un tema que realmente me interesara. A partir de esto me plantee investigar algo que me apasionara, no me imaginaba investigar algo que no me movilizara, ni que me generara interés alguno. Ya que por un lado, tenía toda la formación académica de la carrera de Comunicación Social. Y por otro lado, en el transcurso de mi vida, había adquirido conocimientos relacionados a la cocina y luego, una formación profesional en pastelería. Es decir, reuní ambos conocimientos o saberes para tratar de avizorar un tema de investigación. En este marco, destaco como operativo y eficaz el espacio de “tutorías” de la Casa del Egresado Universitario (CEU) para la realización de planes de Tesis en Comunicación que se brindó en el año 2015 en la Facultad de Humanidades y Ciencias Sociales de la Universidad Nacional de Jujuy. En este espacio pude insertarme para elaborar el plan de tesis, y luego esta Tesis que presento. De esta forma, en este camino, fueron constantes los planteos metodológicos, los interrogantes, las problematizaciones, la modalidad de mi ingreso al trabajo de campo, entre otros aspectos propios del abordaje investigativo, que me brindaron diferentes perspectivas en torno al tema que proponía. Con este trabajo indagamos en las significaciones que hacen los integrantes de cada familia de los vínculos familiares y de la vida en el barrio y consideramos cómo se estructuran esas experiencias en torno a la organización barrial Tupac Amaru, como parte de las trayectorias de vida de los sujetos. Desde sus inicios en la historia, la policía ha tenido una influencia destacada en la construcción de visiones, perspectivas y puntos de vista sobre sus funciones. Ellas engloban representaciones sociales que pueden ser positivas o negativas, favorecedoras del vínculo social o más bien un obstáculo. Esta investigación indaga sobre las mismas para tener una primera aproximación. Se examinará cómo los vecinos representan a la policía, y de qué manera esas representaciones influyen en sus vidas cotidianas con respecto a las funciones que realizan en su barrio. Éstas se han transformado en medios o instrumentos ponderados por los y las profesionales de la salud, tales como médicos, nutricionistas, psicólogos, entre otros profesionales dedicados a este tema. Para contrarrestar estos males dichos profesionales se han convertido en voces legítimas de un discurso que plantea, y recomienda, un estilo de vida en torno al ejercicio físico vinculado al gimnasio. En este escenario social y sanitario el “estilo de vida fitness” levanta la bandera del bienestar y la salud a partir de la actividad física y de los buenos hábitos alimenticios. Etimológicamente fitness es un vocablo inglés que significa “salud y bienestar físico”. Los gimnasios se presentan entonces como escenarios, y a su vez, contextos comunicacionales, sociales y posmodernos en el cual los/as instructores/as desarrollan diferentes actividades construyendo así un modo ser, pensar, hacer y actuar que conforma una cultura del cuidado del cuerpo, que es sin duda objeto de un estudio comunicacional. En tanto tal cuidado advierte, en este contexto, un cuerpo en movimiento, un cuerpo significante, o mejor aún, evidencia la corporalidad, es decir la cualidad de lo corporal, la dimensión vivida del cuerpo puesto en acto en función de la interrelación de sus partes y de su relación en el espacio y los objetos que lo rodea. Esto es, un cuerpo envolventemente comunicacional. Hablo de la radio “La Voz del Cerro”, proyecto integral entablado por los vecinos del barrio Cerro las Rosas, un asentamiento construido sobre lo que antes era un basural. Al conocer sobre sus orígenes e historia me fui sintiendo atraída por saber cómo es que desde la radio se puede generar un lugar de contención, en este caso para jóvenes. Escuchar conceptos como el de radio escuela, medio comunitario, comedor y biblioteca comunitarias, agentes del barrio, me hizo preguntarme sobre quienes sostienen estos espacios, y en cómo se gestionan.
