INKAS, ROADS AND SPANIARDS

La “Primera Entrada” hispánica a tierras del Kollasuyo tiene como protagonista principal a Don Diego de Almagro y sus hombres. Este viaje, que tuvo momentos de intenso dramatismo, se realizó desde el Cuzco a Copiapó, regresando por las tierras de Atacama; las fuentes relativas al viaje nos dan cuenta del paisaje natural y cultural con que se fue encontrando la expedición. Se intenta recomponer los campos semánticos de los enunciados referidos al espacio andino centro sur y, toda referencia al espacio de lo que hoy es territorio jujeño.

The "First Hispanic Entrance" to Kollasuyo lands has as its main protagonist Diego de Almagro and his men. This journey, which at time was extremely dramatic, started from Cuzco to Copiapo, returning through Atacama; the journey sources describe the natural and cultural scenery the expedition found. We try to study the semantic fields of the utterances referred to central and southern andean spaces, and every reference related to what nowadays is jujeño territory.
