SEMEJANZAS Y DIFERENCIAS EN EL ARTE RUPESTRE DE ACHALITA. UN CASO DE ESTUDIO EN LAS SIERRAS DE CÓRDOBA

DIFFERENCES AND SIMILARITIES IN THE ACHALITA’S ROCK ART. A CASE OF STUDY IN THE SIERRA DE CORDOBA

En este trabajo se analizan las semejanzas y diferencias presentes en nueve paneles con grabados rupestres, localizados en el sector occidental de las Sierras Grandes (provincia de Córdoba). A tal fin, se comparan los paneles en base a variables que analizan tanto motivos, técnicas y temas, como la localización en el paisaje (visibilidad, relación con otras evidencias, cercanía a recursos).El estudio del arte rupestre de Achalita permite plantear momentos relativamente sincrónicos de ejecución, propuesta que se respalda, no sólo en la semejanza de los indicadores estilísticos, sino también en la escasa diferenciación observada en las patinas y en las evidencia arqueológica relacionadas de manera indirecta a los soportes. En base al análisis de esta evidencia, se propone que las variaciones observadas, principalmente la visibilidad de los paneles, se explican en términos de diferencias funcionales y no cronológicas.

In this paper some diferences and similarities of nine panels with engravings, localizaded of the western of the Sierras Grandes (Córdoba province) are analysed. The aim is to compare this panels throught differents variables like motives, techniques and themes as well as their location on the landscape (visibility, relationships with the others archaeological evidence and critical resources). The Achalita rock art study allows to establish synchronous rather than diachronous moments of ejecution, backed not only on the similarities stilystical but also in scarcely distinguished rock varnish and the indirect archaeological evidence. On the basis of this evidence, it is suggested that the variations recorded like the panels visibility, would be explained just as functional difference.
