Altos Hornos Zapla y el Plan Siderúrgico Nacional (PSN) en el contexto de la Industrialización por Sustitución de Importaciones (ISI): 1947-1976

Within the history of the Argentine steel industry, this paper deals with the performance of the National Steel Plan (PSN) from its creation in 1947 to 1976.
We are interested in understanding the historical context in which the national steel industry developed, in order to comprehend the strategic value assigned to Altos Hornos Zapla, the first integrated steelmaking unit, established in Palpalá, province of Jujuy, in 1944.

Nuestro trabajo se ocupa, dentro de la historia de la industria siderúrgica argentina, del desempeño del Plan Siderúrgico Nacional (PSN) desde su creación en 1947 hasta 1976. Nos interesa conocer el contexto histórico en el que se desarrolló la siderurgia nacional para comprender el valor estratégico que se le asignó a Altos Hornos Zapla, primera unidad siderúrgica integrada radicada en Palpalá, provincia de Jujuy en 1944.
