La escritura como proceso transaccional en Louise Rosenblatt

Se presenta la traducción del apartado “The writing process” que forma parte de un paper titulado Writing and reading: the transactional theory, investigación dirigida por Louise Rosenblatt en la década de 1980. Se justifica la necesidad de publicar dicha traducción en la escasez de bibliografía disponible en español al respecto y en la relevancia que la autora tiene en diversos campos de estudio como la lingüística, la semiótica y la didáctica de la literatura. Se traduce en particular el apartado sobre escritura por lo novedoso del enfoque y sus aportes a las reflexiones sobre escritura metacognitiva.

The following is a translation of the section"The writing process" from a paper entitled "Writing and reading: the transactional theory," directed by Louise Rosenblatt in the 1980s. The need for this translation is justified by the scarcity of available bibliography on the subject in Spanish and therelevance of the author in various fields of study, such as linguistics, semiotics, and the teaching of literature. The section on writing is translated in particular due to the novelty of the approach and its contributions to reflections on metacognitivewriting.
